After starting out as a mixed media artist since the day that she could mix media, Cameron became a visual & web designer and Adobe Creative Suite expert about 12 years ago. After a 4 year immersion into the incredibly talented art world of Florence, Italy, she's been putting her collective skillset to use through creative marketing consulting, building corporate brands, & digital media production since 2017.
After studying art & Italian throughout her early years, she ultimately earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. After spending over 7 years in banking & eventually running their marketing departments, she's now focused on building the most brilliant brands in the universe.
Cameron's Marketing Ethos:
The best marketers are authentic, always in touch with the ever-evolving World of Marketing, and are habitually creating value for their intended audience that also translates into high ROIs for the brand. They test everything, scale what works, learn from what doesn't, and then optimize for conversions with the highest impacts that maintains brand standards and ethics. And they do this all while leaving wiggle room for innovation, creativity, process improvement, and humor.
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Cam has a well-rounded background in everything marketing, business, and design, making visualizing and leading the big picture her strongest skillset. For project implementation, she's led creative teams since 2018 that have been made up of videographers, copywriters, strategists, designers, photographers, email marketers, web developers, social media content managers, marketing coordinators, ad specialists, and various vendors.
Why Creative Directing is her strongest skillset:
Knowing each one of the workflows involved in creative projects on a profound level, coupled with strong interpersonal communication, helps her support the team in many ways:
More on her background:
BRAND DESIGNER
Cam's design prowess runs deep. Developing or redeveloping a brand's voice is a personal love because of the creativity that it allows and the high impact that it has in the projection of a company. She's not only an expert in visuals like branding packages, interactive PDFs, graphics, GIFs, videos, motion, & media kits, but she's been designing websites and maintaining ADA compliance for over 10 years. More importantly, understanding target audiences and aligning with each specific brand's guidelines, messaging, & strategy are strong suites as well.
MARKETING STRATEGIST
Her marketing strategy ethos has been all about bringing plenty of storytelling, authenticity, creativity, and a scientific approach to the table for over a decade. Her omni-channel and UX-focused marketing approaches typically include market research, SEO, SEM/paid ads, copywriting, email marketing, relatable video, Linkedin, Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, third party vendors, & above all - value to the audience, which in turn brings high ROI and top-notch outcomes to the brand.
DIGITAL ARTIST
Since Cameron's not always all business, she has a creative outlet in digital art and design. Bold, fun, and sometimes quirky - motion, typography, animated storytelling, GIFs, & 3D pieces all are passion projects that are usually in the background behind corporate life. Inspired by exposure to classical art schools in Florence, along with modern concepts & design, her personal style tends to be ever-evolving. Follow the latest works here & here.

As an avid Pinterest user for years, Cameron attended a product dev meetup in Los Angeles with Tailwind, where they asked her to join the team by consulting on brand development & creating branded social media content for both YouTube & Instagram.
Following acquisitions, Cameron consulted & assisted with the rebrand into AUB in 2019 & also again in 2020 via SEO & SEM projects, website updating, & digital media production.
Daylight is an energy startup backed by large investors, and Cam consulted on the development of an entirely new brand via brand voice buildout, working with influencers, email marketing, paid social ads, and organic social media content creation and management.

Software Experience
From planning content through keyword research, to script writing and filming, to editing and producing the final product - working on videos from start to finish is a normal (and fun!) part of Cameron's workflow. Her videos are created for websites (embedded video gives a huge SEO bump), for tutorials on Youtube, for all social media ads, for Stories and Reels on Instagram, for Tiktok, for Pinterest, for Facebook, and for various needs that clients have. Below are a couple of examples:

Converging between video production and digital art is a space where Cameron is absolutely in love with - motion design. Primarily produced in Adobe After Effects, but with experimentation being done in Blender & Cinema 4D, Cameron regularly produces motion design not just for fun, but for business purposes like product explainers, tutorials, etc. See a couple of examples below. Web development on all fronts:

Cameron has extensive experience building accounts on social media platforms like Youtube, Linkedin, Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook, both organically & through ads, but Pinterest is the one that she's really excelled at, and helped loads of clients achieve fantastic results on. Pinterest Ads are still one of the best ROI ads out of all of the social media platforms, with her Cost Per Lead, (AKA 'CPL") being as low as $2 per qualified lead. (With 'lead' equating to an email subscriber.)
Why focus on Pinterest? Pinterest is an 'evergreen' search engine, (unlike Instagram and Facebook), and currently holds the record for the longest lasting content. For example, a pin that was posted over 4 years ago still brings hundreds of people back to Cameron's website every week.
Below are real analytics from both organic and paid ad campaigns:
@evergray_creative It might sound silly for TikTok to be fiddling with fonts right now, but there was sooo much brand strategy that went into this font change. Having a font that's more ADA compliant (Americans with Disabilities Act) and more readable & accessible very likely helps TikTok not get banned in the US. And having a unique, bespoke font subconsciously signals to us visually that TikTok is different than other platforms. (With the pretty smart intent of making us love it more than other social media platforms.) Haters of the new font - do you still hate it? 🤔 #tiktoknewfont #tiktoksans #tiktokfont #brandstrategy #tiktoksnewfont #brandstrategytips #greenscreen ♬ Chill Vibes - Tollan Kim
Part of functional & well-performing marketing & sales funnels are powerful email marketing campaigns and segmented automations and drips. Unlike any and all social media, brands actually own their email subscriber list & aren't subject to the finicky algorithm gods in this space. Cameron have email list provider experience mainly with Constant Contact, Convertkit, Klayvio, Iterable, InfusionSoft, MailChimp, & ActiveCampaign.
As an Adobe Creative Suite Expert, developing a brand visually is not only easy, but Cameron honestly enjoys it because of her deep love for design. But creating well-developed brands takes more than just visuals - it requires thorough market research, clear messaging & mission fulfillment, aligned content, Interactive PDFs, & ad campaigns, and an overall user-friendly experience that's intuitive for everyone involved.
Here's an example of Cameron's brand strategy in action:
@evergray_creative After 12+ years in the game, here's how I make a simple, high quality brand board/palette: I always do a really thorough initial consult with the client so that I truly do understand the brand well, and then I do one, maybe two brand board options, and present my favorite one that makes the most sense for the brand. (And I include all of the elements that I talk about in this TikTok.) I always want to present the brand board to the client in person or on video too so that I can see their genuine facial reactions and cater my presentation or make adjustments around their reactions to make sure that they're happy with everything. And while I'm presenting it, I'm explaining why I made certain decisions, and kind of selling it and getting them excited about it. (As they should be! 🥳🤌) You could have the same exact brand board and if you just send it via an email attachment, it doesn't build that excitement and the client ultimately doesn't see the value as much. Also, for it to sink in, most clients need to see some sort of visual mockup with this branding palette so I'll also do a few social media post mockups so that they can see what that branding looks like in action. ✨ #branddesign #designtok #designtips #brandingtips #branding #branddesigner ♬ R u n n i n g U p T h a t H i l l - audios
